Mehmud Ghazni

Mahmud was brought into the world in the town of Ghazni in the district of Zabulistan (presently present-day Afghanistan) on 2 November 971. His dad, Sabuktigin, was a Turkic slave officer who established frameworks to the Ghaznavid tradition in Ghazni in 977, which he managed as a subordinate of the Samanids, who governed Khorasan and Transoxiana.
